Heather's Hijabs has offered scarves, accessories and Islamic items since 2004. Founded by an American Muslim, Heather's Hijabs seeks to offer hijabs that primarily appeal to the styles and needs of Muslimahs in the U.S. and Canada.

Many of our hijabs are made in the U.S., while others are imported from Lebanon, Indonesia, Kuwait, Turkey and from around the world. We are based in the U.S. and ship from Indiana.

Alcohol-Free Vanilla

Trader Joe's brand alcohol-free vanilla extract in a 4 oz plastic bottle. Use this the same way you would use regular vanilla extract. This is great to use when you're baking for other Muslims, even if you use regular vanilla extract for yourself, to avoid potentially offending brothers and sisters who are strict about alcohol in food.

Ingredients: vanilla bean extractives, glycerin, sugar, xanthan gum, water.

Halal Marshmallows

American Halal Marshmallows brand. Made in the USA by Muslims, for Muslims. Made with fish gelatin - contains no pork or beef products. (And does not taste like fish!) Unlike some brands of kosher marshmallows, these have a soft texture and subtle vanilla flavor with no chemical aftertaste. They are very good!

One 4.4 oz package contains 19-20 large, puffy marshmallows. Suitable for all dessert recipes calling for marshmallows, for s'mores, and for eating out of hand.

Non-Gelatin Jell Dessert

This jello-type dessert is made without gelatin, but firms just as well using a vegetable-based thickener. A yummy substitute for the non-halal dessert! Can be used in recipes that call for Jello. One standard-size package makes about 4 servings.

Dried Black Lemons

Whole dried lemons are used in Middle Eastern and Persian cooking, and keep for up to 2 years in your cabinet. Store away from light, as you would any other spices. Available in 100 gram packets, with an average of 18-20 dried lemons in each packet.
